177th Fighter Wing to Conduct Night Training from October 13-15th around Atlantic City Airport

The 177th Fighter Wing will be engaged in a Wing training exercise starting tomorrow, October 13, through Saturday, October 15, 2022.

This exercise is a typical training event required every 12 to 18 months to ensure mission capability and survivability in an overseas military operation.

It is designed to evaluate and ensure mission readiness in support of worldwide deployment. Activities will be limited to the confines of the base.

Residents surrounding the Atlantic City International Airport can expect training operations to include night flying, as well as exercise related sirens/horns and pyrotechnic explosions during the span of the exercise.
