Town Square Entertainment Purchases Moorlyn 4 Theatre in Ocean City, NJ

Town Square Entertainment, the company behind the Stone Harbor movie theater as well as the new project at the County Commons, has announced the acquisition of Moorlyn 4 Theatre in Ocean City, NJ.

The company mentions that it was a dream project of theirs.

The historic theater has survived a variety of storms, hurricanes, and even a boardwalk fire in 1927 (where it was moved 200 feet east of its original location).

There is no word on when the new open date will be, or what type of rehabilitation will be needed.
