CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE, Oct. 9, 2026 — Cape May County Technical High School holds its open house Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at 188 Crest Haven Rd. No RSVP is needed.

The evening is aimed at middle school students and their families.

Next school year, Cape Tech adds two programs, Coast Guard Junior ROTC and Dental Assisting, for a total of 20 career programs. The JROTC program is the only one in New Jersey and one of 20 in the country. It will also take transfer students entering grades 10–12 in fall 2027.

What you'll see

Teachers and administrators will be on hand, and student ambassadors will lead tours of the campus. Stops include:

  • A fully renovated boathouse for the Marine Maintenance, Coastal and Marine Sciences and Coast Guard JROTC programs, reopening this spring
  • A new Makerspace with 3D printers and other tools for designing and building
  • A student-run café
  • The conference center
  • A 100-seat esports arena, which the school calls the first of its kind in the region

The school's sports teams and clubs will be on display too. Cape Tech competes in the Cape Atlantic League in baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, swimming and volleyball. Clubs include SkillsUSA, Student Council, Mock Trial, Future Farmers of America, Key Club and the National Honor Society.

"We welcome students to learn why career and technical education at Cape Tech is for everyone," said Superintendent Jamie Moscony. "We have a range of programs to match every interest and every college and career goal. And, we have dedicated resources to best prepare students for fields where there is high demand now, where there are emerging opportunities, and where they can make a difference right here in Cape May County. Our goal is simple: we help students find their purpose and then put them on the path to lifelong success."
