Fudge Kitchen buildings among five properties under contract

CAPE MAY, Oct. 4, 2026 — Five commercial properties in Cape May, Ocean City and Stone Harbor have gone under contract. Their asking prices add up to $18.3 million, and four of the buildings house The Original Fudge Kitchen.

The properties:

• 513 Washington St., Cape May (Fudge Kitchen shop): $6 million
• 502 Washington St., Cape May (storefront plus rear commissary kitchen): $6 million
• 800 Boardwalk, Ocean City: $3.75 million
• 254 96th St., Stone Harbor: $1.35 million
• 728 Beach Ave., Cape May: $1.2 million

All five went under contract on Sept. 23 after about five weeks on the market, and are expected to close Jan. 6, 2027. The buyer hasn't been named.

The Fudge Kitchen has been hand-whipping fudge since 1972, with shops in Cape May, Ocean City, Stone Harbor and Wildwood.
