RIO GRANDE, Oct. 19, 2026 — A large stretch of the Middle Township Bike Path will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday, Oct. 20, through about Friday, Oct. 30, while Atlantic City Electric does restoration work, the township says.
The closure runs from Route 47 in Rio Grande to Court House-South Dennis Road by the Cape May County Park and Zoo.
The township is asking residents to stay off the path while it is closed, for their own safety and that of the ACE crews. It will announce a reopening date once Atlantic City Electric provides one.
