MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, Nov. 6, 2026 — Bidwell Creek Marina on Route 47 says seven boats have been abandoned there, and it will apply for title to them unless their owners come forward, according to a legal notice published Nov. 4.

If a boat is not claimed and removed within 30 days of the notice, Bidwell Creek Marina Operations LLC, doing business as Bayway Marina Operations LLC, will apply for title in the company's name, the notice says. That window runs to about Dec. 4. The notice cites New Jersey's abandoned vessel law.

  • 28-foot 1970 fiberglass PCM (NJ553248, 28G275)
  • 34-foot 1964 fiberglass Hat (NJ4258FA, NJZ532170685)
  • 35-foot 1963 aluminum CHR (NJ4940HE, RXP361609)
  • 35-foot 1971 ERI sailboat (NJ541775, NJX377OHU)

  • 25-foot 1973 Chris Craft (NJ689ZAE, MXA250222T)

The notice does not name the owners or say how long the boats have been at the marina. The marina is at 149 Route 47 North.
